I led the content rewrite for the Corporate Filings LLC website. The original content for the website did not answer clients who were confused why “Corporate Filings LLC” was showing up on their bank statements when they ordered from other business service companies.

This created trust issues, increased chargebacks, and wasted time and effort for both clients and customer service representatives.

Original Problem:

The website didn’t explain who Corporate Filings LLC was and how it related to any business service related purchases they had made within the last year. Most of the original text was full of confusing jargon and focused on details a customer didn’t need to know, such as adding new IPs to Corporate Filings’ portfolio or securing the rights of popular URLs.

My Role:

  • Worked with accounting teams and customer service teams to determine how to reduce chargebacks and create content that clearly explained Corporate Filings’ purpose.
  • Collaborated with the marketing team to make the new content AI friendly while still making sure it met SEO standards and was helpful to clients.
  • Added a new FAQ page laying out the most important answers in a simple, easy-to-understand format.
  • Ensured the new content was clear, concise and friendly to help panicked clients not feel that their payment information had been stolen.

Impact:

This was my final project with Corporate Tools and wasn’t completed in time for me to see the results. But this project taught me how to write website content for AI to utilize when people ask questions like “what is Corporate Filings LLC”, along with creating content that anticipates client questions and proactively answers them in such a way to reduce friction and prevent revenue loss.
